Abstract
In June, 1994, the «Provinciaal Museum Sterckshof - Zilvercentrum» will reopen its doors after major works of rebuilding. The library, having 23,000 volumes and subscriptions to about 110 serial publications, will finally dispose of an adequate accommodation: a reading room, a separate study room and a central book stacks. At the same time, several facilities have been created for the users of the library: by means of test, the library will be open during some hours on saturdays, and on line consultation has become possible by means of the library software CIBIS and CD-ROM. The library has an unique collection of old and modern decorative arts and design
